]]>The latest release from True Tiger Recordings comes in the shape of volume three of the growing Around The World series. Volume One & Two includes producers from UK, Venezuala, Hungary & Canada. Now its time for Volume Three to drop and we have gone stateside with this installment. Featuring a remix of Sukh Knight's club anthem 'Diesel Not Petrol' by arguably the biggest US Dubstep producer of the moment Noah D. This remix has been doing the rounds over the summer gaining big plays in the UK and US. Both Noah D and Sukh Knight have gained massive support in the last few months so this is definitely a collaboration to check out.
Volume Three also includes a journey track in the shape of 'Bulgarian Funk' which rolls more than your local baker. Produced by two of the US dubstep scenes hottest names Antiserum & DJG and having been played big various big name DJs in dubstep and dance music.
The EP's lead track is by London newcomer Shandy, a close friend of Sukh Knight and a name to watch. Lead track 'Doom' has been getting power-played in True Tiger club sets over the past few months and always get a massive reaction in the club. This record has also received massive love from getdarker.com as well as the dubstep elite DJs.

]]>The first in a series of Clandestine plates devoted to exposing the production talents of Brighton town. Presenting two producers destined to go a long way: Ultrasound and Hizzle Guy. Two very distinct takes on bass heavy 140bpm music, these tracks have been alternately blissing out and smashing up dancefloors around the world in recent months, so here they are for you to continue the trend. ULTRASOUND consist of two Brighton based DJ producers and a London based sound engineer. Between them these three have released a huge number of tracks across different genres over the years, DJ'd different styles of music in venues all over the shop, worked in record shops and are now behind the highly acclaimed "well rounded" label. For their first release as a production outfit Ultrasound have distilled Dubstep through a refined apparatus of trip-hop, soundsystem warmth, Berlin texture and sheer musical sensibility into something both unique and familiar. With big support from the leftfield of Dubstep and tastemakers like Belgiums Bunzero. HIZZLE GUY is a young Brighton based DJ who along with his Gangoon Dubz crew has taken Brighton by storm with his raw and instinctive DJ style and tunes. We really can't overemphasize how much energy this guy has on the decks, and it transfers straight to his tunes. Dread is an absolute low slung monster of a tune in the rave, at once hype filled and drudgingly weighty, with a loping propulsion and gully vibe thats been sorely lacking from "dancefloor" dubstep of late. Think Slaughter Mob meets Cluekid and you're part way there. Already getting big support from names like Sukh Knight and Afterdark.

]]>Kryptic Minds first release since their highly anticipated One Of Us Album on Loefahs Swamp81 label. Kryptic Minds show they have many strings to their bow in the shape of this killer 2 track 12 on their own Osiris Music uk imprint.
X_Life Continuum shows the guys going in deep with hard synth manipulation, warm pads and haunting choir which glides in and out effortlessly through the mix. Best listened to in a dark room, with a massive sound system, for people who like to feel the bass rattling theyre chest!
Y_Wondering Why this is the yang of the flip, with a different feel altogether, in what only can be described as beautiful! With a skippy half time beat, and the sense of emotion from the off. As soon as the needle hits the edge of the record you know you are in for an emotional six minute journey. With a ghost like female vocal that glides through the track like a hot knife through butter. One for the head phones but also rocks the dance.

]]>It's been a while now since Clue Kid released his debut single here on 'Earwax 'Halogen' and 'Down & Dirty' (2006). We are very pleased to have him back on wax, demonstrating his progressions as he's has mastered his art. The lead track 'Chicken Foot' is a one for the clever stepper who likes his wobble to be little more deadly and refined in delivery. It's a banger alright but one with plenty of restraint and fine style. Opening pads chime a deadly warning before the wonky bassline thumps in, heavily grooved and heavily weighted. Sporadic conga riffs cut through on point, adding to the momentum generated by the no-compromise bassline. Hold out for the 2nd drop as it twists a new way round! Flip then for the equally deadly but more stripped down 'Shifty'. Perhaps not the most appropriate title ever conceived but a fine piece of heavy artillery nonetheless. Taking a 2005 Loefah sound (and supported by him for this very reason) and redefining it in a Clue Kid style. Excellent quality rhythm and bass music with a dark and unforgiving edge. ]]>Hand stamped ltd edition of 500 180g vinyl. In early 2009, Ramadanman was approached by the British Council to participate in a cultural project between the UK and Bulgaria. The Bulgarian public voted for a top 10 of their favourite 90s Bulgarian pop songs, which were then offered to three UK producers to remix (the others being Hexstatic and Craggz & Parallel Forces). Ramadanman chose the Wickeda song "À íèå ñ Áîáè äâàìàòà ïèåì êàôå" ("And I and Bobby, We are Both Drinking Coffee"), and remixed it. The remix was premiered at a British Council‐organised club night in Sofia, Bulgarias capital, and beforehand, Ramadanman gave a remix workshop session to local producers. Wickeda are a Bulgarian rock band with a strong following. "À íèå ñ Áîáè äâàìàòà ïèåì êàôå" was a hit single from their first album Revolution which was released in 1999 and sold over 30,000 copies. Today, Wickeda continue to tour Bulgaria as well as Europe, with regular festival dates.

]]>Clouds is a Finnish electronic music production team that consists of Tommi Liikka and Samuli Tanner. Tommi is a Helsinki native and Samuli comes from a small village deep in rural Finland. The combination of their musical influences is evident in Clouds - both members share an interest in the DIY aesthetic often connecting all kinds of music made with passion, not brains. And passion is a trait that overlaps any genre or style boundaries, leading to music that is willing to break the mold. The Clouds sound is like a soundtrack to the invasion of earth by little and green, but dubwise, aliens. It's a fresh take on the standards of dubstep, combining elements from video games, experimental music and hip-hop with deep melodic meditations and dancefloor-shredding basslines. Dark Path on the A is an exercise in dub technology, thick slabs of bass overlaid with eastern melodies and mad FX. Percussion and snares are treated with heavy delays, pinging around like auditory hallucinations, building a framework upon which to hang the wistful chords and gentle flute topline. ]]>Instra:mental present the second release from their Nonplus imprint after the hugely successful Nonplus 001 Wonder Where / No Future. This release consists of two tracks from Instra:mental. Again, the A side contains the vocal talent of frequent collaborator dBridge, and for the B side they switch up the style into what can only be described as Dub Techno. a) Instra:mental Watching You stands up to the quality levels set by Nonplus 001 and continues the fusion of original vocals, Detroit influenced chords and their trademark tight percussion. Ice-cold robotic vocals and heart-warming chord stabs will make the hairs on your neck stand on end listen after listen. This tune is a timeless piece of music that no amount of jargon can justifiably explain. If you like the recent output from these guys then you will love this tune. aa) Instra:mental Tramma is a 4/4 offering made of elements from Dub, Techno and DnB but is hard to pigeonhole into any particular genre. For descriptive purposes well call it dub techno. Once again we can hear their influences from all things electronic, and here we have an example of the variance that we expect from Nonplus and a glimpse of the vision that Instra:mental have for the future of this label.
