Donae'o aka Ian Greenidge was always destined to make a career out o music after growing up in a house where melodies were a major force. During his teens Donae'o would release a few singles, most notably Fallin and Bounce on various imprints. Both singles made an impact on the underground, with Bounce winning an award for Best Live P.A at the People's Choice Awards in 2003. All of this set the foundations for Donae'o's future success. A few years later an older, wiser and more business savy Donae'o penne a tune called Devil In A Blue Dress, and was to kick-start his career once again and have a major impact on the UK underground. From Devil In A Blue Dress, came his critically acclaimed Party Hard album, an mixture of beats, rich with his trademark heavy soulless and killer choruses. The lead single off the album also called Party Hard, became a massive hit in the clubs and on specialist radio, winning him champions across the board and throughout the British music press. A self-confessed work-a-holic, Donae'o has also maintain 100% contro over his own career path and prides himself on his own personal promotion machine. Without the help of a major record company or radio plugger, Donae'o has cemented himself as a 'one to watch' for 2010, after performing at countless PAs up and down the country and a coveted spot at 2009's Glastonbury festival. 2009 did'nt only see Donae'o drop his sort after Party Hard album. It a saw him being invited to perform in front of a crowd of 20,000 at the 1Xtra Live concert in Sheffield along side the likes of Chipmunch, Chase & Status and Taio Cruz, not to mention some surprise radio support for a track of the album called Riot Music. Riot Music was never released as a single, but in Novemer 2009, Zane Lowe surprisingly picked up on the track, making it his 'Hottest Record In Th Universe' and continuing to support it over the following months. The interes and buzz has continued to build, and in early Dec 2009, Riot Music was pulled from the digital bundle of the Party Hard album and signed to Shy FX's Digital Soundboy label. Since then, Shy has tweaked the radio mix and also roped in none other than Skream and The Nextmen for some remix pressure. Already a favourite with Zane Lowe, Annie Mac and Mista Jam, and continuing to win supports across the board, Riot Music is set to be one of THE big records for 2010!
